Medziphema tribal units demand shifting of DC office

All the tribal units of Medziphema Town at the meeting held on September 12 have expressed displeasure on the state government for its reluctance to shift the Deputy Commissioner (DC) office from Dimapur to Chumoukedima despite wide publicity. 

According to a press release issued by MTMK president, Akhoto Kuotsu and general secretary, Niu Khrielie Iralu, the meeting was convened by Medziphema Town Mechü Krotho (MTMK) with all different tribal unions of Medziphema townat CYO Hall, Medziphema. 
At the meeting, the members after deliberating on the pros and cons expressed solidarity to the proposed move in shifting of the office to its new site. 
The meeting was chaired by president, MTMK, Akhoto Kuotsu where at least two representatives each from all the tribal unions participated in the meeting, the release stated.
