Mokokchung District Commercial Vehicle Owners Association (MDCVOA) has called for an indefinite ‘Chakka bandh’ starting October 21 from 6 a.m. onwards. All commercial vehicles in Mokokchung district will remain off the roads. The bandh has been called to protest against the failure to respond to the grievances of the association on the issue of Vahan 4.0 system by the concerned authorities. The association cautioned that “heavy punishments” would be initiated against those who defied the bandh.
