Various organisations have expressed shock at the untimely demise of NLA speaker, Vikho-o Yhoshü on December 30, 2019 and Kevihouü Rio, mother of Nagaland chief minister, Neiphiu Rio on January 1.

TPO: Tenyimi Peoples’ Organisation (TPO) has expressed deep sadness at the demise of Er Vikho-o Yhoshü, Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
In a condolence message, TPO said in his demise the Naga people has lost a tall leader whose calm and composed demeanour always served as a soothing effect to all situations.
TPO said Tenyimi people have lost a fatherly figure whose concern and gestures for the wellbeing of the people and society stands immeasurable, and that vacuum created cannot be ever filled.
In this time of immense grief, TPO prayed that God Almighty grant solace and strength to the family members and for the departed soul to find eternal peace in the heavenly abode.
CGOK: Chakhroma Gazetted Officers Krotho (CGOK) has expressed shock over the sudden demise of speaker of NLA, Er. Vikho-o Yhoshu on December 30. 
In a condolence message, CGOK president, Sedevikho Khro and general secretary, Kelesekho Tsukru has described late Yhoshu as a righteous, mild, and soft man of principles, who had his people’s interest first and made every decision wisely, and had the character of a true leader. 
It further shared its deepest condolence at this time of grief to the bereaved family. 
DDGIF condoles: Dimapur District Gorkha Indigenous Forum (DDGIF) has expressed its profound grief and sorrow at the demise of Kevihouü mother of Nagaland chief minister, Neiphiu Rio and advisor sericulture excise and minority affairs, Zhaleo Rio who breathe her last on January 1, at Oking hospital. 
In a press release, DDGIF further extended its deepest condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
