1 Nagaland Girls Bn NCC under aegis NCC Gp HQ Kohima across entire Nagaland participated at yoga day in 17 main venues and various sub-venues wherein 4041 Girl Cdts and more than 70 PI staff, ANOs & officers participated.

A press release from NCC Gp HQ Kohima stated that, in Kohima 231 Girl Cdts participated at IG stadium under aegis YRS. Cdts interacted with Governor PB Acharya, DGP Nagaland Police TJ Longkumer and DC Kohima Anoop Khinchi, an ex-Cdt himself. 
The main venues at Kohima were St Joseph's College, Mt Olive College and Govt HS Kigwema. Dimapur saw huge numbers of Cadets participating along with institution organised activities; the largest mass Yoga was at Livingstone Foundation HSS who organised for cadets of five more institutions. Other venues at Dimapur were Dimapur Govt College, Carmel HSS, Tetso College, Unity College and Don Bosco HSS. 
In Peren the main venue was HQ 36 AR where most of the cadets assembled and practised yoga, another venue was St Xavier College Jalukie. At Phek Chirstian Mission Sch, St Xavier Meluri and Nazareth Sch Pfutzero were the venues.  At Mokokchung Fazl Ali College was the venue. At Tuensang HQ 40 AR hosted the IDY practise for the NCC cadets of St John HSS and GHSS. GHSS were the venues at Mon and Wokha.
