Mokokchung Press Club (MPC) has resolved to avoid all press conferences for the time being in view of the global pandemic COVID-19 outbreak and as a countermeasure for protection of members.

A press release from MPC president, Limalenden Longkumer and secretary, Sashimeren Jamir also appealed to all the citizens of Mokokchung to adhere to the public advisories issued by competent authorities from time to time on the matter. MPC further made a sincere appeal that each and every single individual member of the society come together to defeat COVID-19 and that common sense would prevail, to fare through this trying situation together and safely as a society. MPC will continue to remain active in line of duty and those in need of its service may contact at 9436016099 or 7005638013 for necessary details. MPC also thanked Young Women Christian Association of Mokokchung for face masks donated to Mokokchung Press Club.
