Singer/songwriter Bendangtoshi has released a love song album in Ao dialect titled ‘Na TetiMeimtsü’.

SCERT Nagaland, joint director, Moa Longkumer, who is also a former noted singer, released the album in Dimapur. Speaking at the release party, Longkumer said that the ability to sing is one of God’s greatest gifts.

He expressed hope that the songs will reawaken love in the hearts of people. Encouraging the artiste, Longkumer also added that he hopes Bendangtoshi continues to inspire people by bringing out more albums in the future.

Bendangtoshi said that he has collaborated with many artistes in the past but he has always had the desire to bring out his own solo album. Although it took him many years, he never lost sight of his vision and this album is a fruit of his dedication and hard work. He thanked God for his blessings and hoped that his listeners will enjoy the songs.

As a young kid, Bendangtoshi said he had always dreamed to be one of the best singers in Nagaland which fuelled his passion and kept him working hard. Years later, in 2002, he was adjudged the Best Vocalist at the 2nd Hornbill Open Beat Contest. Reminiscing on the path that has led him to this point, Bendangtoshi acknowledged and thanked God and all the people who believed, supported and helped him along the way.

The album can be found at Bible House, New NST Kohima; Glitzy Shop IM Road, Near Elite Hostel, Mokokchung. One may call 9436275111 for more details on the album.          (NPN)
