Naga IOFS officer passes away

A Naga officer, Chumdemo Ngullie  serving  as Indian Ordnance Factories Services (IOFS), from Pangti village, breathed his last on July 11, at Yashoda Hospital, Secunderabad, Telangana, after a prolong illness.

He was working as Joint General Manager, Indian Ordnance Factories Services (IOFS) at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. 

His body reached Dimapur by flight on July 12. 

A short sent off service was held in the airport premises where hundreds of people paid homage and laid wreathes as a mark of respect to the departed soul.  After which his body was taken to his native village, Pangti for burial. 

Family members, relatives, villagers and friends described late Chumdemo as a selfless, and dedicated government officer. Many also lauded the officer for his honesty and humbleness. He is survived by his wife and two sons.

Born on August 30 1968, late Chumdemo, a 1994 batch Group A service UPSC was working as Jt. GM, IOFS under Ministry of defence. He also worked for a short stint in NEC in the capacity of Assistant Secretary.
