To keep an update on  the project activities and progress in the state, Nagaland Health Project (NHP), directorate of Health & Family Welfare, conducted three-day review meeting from July 23 to 25 at hotel De Oriental Grand Kohima.

During the course of the meeting, District Project Management Unit (DPMU) of all 11 districts presented their activities, progress, achievements and also highlighted the hurdles faced during implementation at the grassroots level.

Discussions and deliberations on issues brought forward by the DPMUs marked the three-day review meeting.

On the opening day, project director NHP, Dr. Vizolie Z Suokhrie in his keynote address called upon the participants to observe, identify and document innovative ideas and good practices encountered during field work. He encouraged the NHP team to work selflessly towards strengthening the health service delivery and be agents of change in transforming the health scenario of Nagaland.

On the gaps and challenges faced by the teams, Dr. Suokhrie emboldened the district teams to explore all platforms and opportunities for smooth implementation of the project, assuring all possible support from his office.

Earlier, additional project director NHP, Dr. Atoshe Sema welcomed the participants. He also encouraged the NHP team to promote the development activities of NHP taking place across the state.
