Nagaland team to take  part in India’s Strongest Man

A squad of four men will be representing Nagaland at the upcoming India’s Strongest Man/Woman 2020 scheduled to be held at Dehradun, Uttarakhand on January 25 and 26.

A press release from team Manager Khriezo Suokhrie stated that the four men will be competing in four various weight categories.  The team members are Tsuknungakum Jamir (category 105 Kg class), Vizobeilie Punyü (category 80 Kg class), Kevilelie Pienyü (category 90 Kg class) and Sedevizo Keretsü (category 105 Kg class). 

It may be mentioned here that the four men have competed in various fitness and strength events like the North-East Strongest Man, Hornbill International Fittest Man, Hornbill International Strongest Man, National Power Lifting, All Nagaland Fittest and Strength War, National Mass Wrestling, and Northern Angami Wrestling achieving top positions and bringing laurels to the state. The team under the banner “Oriental Fitness” will be sponsored by De Oriental Grand, NK Square Pvt. Ltd., Big Life Events, Khriehu Liezietsu, N. Lanu, Pele Khiezhie, and Starlake Hostel.
