Music Task Force (MTF) advisor Theja Meru  congratulated the organizers of Nagaland Anime Junkies (NAJ) Cosfest 2019 for putting together a colourful and creative festival, saying that Cosfest has grown from strength to strength and has the potential to become one of the biggest monsoon festivals in country and can pull many tourists to Nagaland and even participate.

Speaking at the prize distribution ceremony of NAJ Cosfest at The Heritage Kohima on July 7, he said India receives about 10 million foreign tourists annually, and if such festival can attract even a small portion it would be a boon to the state economy.

Meru also told the youth that policies to promote arts, creativity and innovations are being framed in line with the vision of Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.

Further, he wishes the organisers to make the event bigger and better and assured that the state government is always there to support the creative pursuits of its youth.
