Naturally Nagaland launched in Kolkata

Naturally Nagaland, a handholding initiative of the government of Nagaland to promote the finest arts, crafts, handlooms, and organic products of the state was launched by Lithrongla G Chishi, principal secretary of Industries and Commerce department, Nagaland during the ceremonial function held at Nagaland Emporium in Kolkata on February 26.

According to a press release issued by Naturally Nagaland, Lithrongla Chishi informed that Naturally Nagaland will be an outlet for the produce of the state where entrepreneurs can put their products for sale through the departments.

Meanwhile, while marking the occasion, principal secretary along with the mission director of NBDA Imtirenla Jamir, DRC Kolkata Renbeni Ngullie, team leader NBHM Khüzovoyi Vese and managing director NHHDC Zakabo V Rotokha also planted decorative bamboo saplings within the premises of Nagaland Emporium, Kolkata.

Earlier, dedicatory prayer was offered by pastor, NCF Kolkata Hetovi Ayemi and associate pastor Noklem Konyak. Nagaland Emporium Kolkata was also given a facelift by Kharu Design Nagaland.

The venture is a collaborative effort of Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency (NBDA), Nagaland Bee Keeping and Honey Mission (NBHM), Nagaland Bio-Resource Mission (NBM), Myki under Women Resource Development, Development of Under Developed Areas in partnership with Nagaland Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation, a PSU under the government of Nagaland.

Launched on December 3,1990. Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland state. Nagaland Post is also the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in multi-colour.
