NBCD directives to shop keepers and residents

Notun Bosti Council Dimapur (NBCD) has directed all shop keepers, medical outlets and vendors within the Notun Bosti jurisdiction to wear face mask, hand glove and maintain social distancing as mandatory.

A press release by NBCD chairman E. Jon Ezung and secretary, Kavito Ayemi stated that, shops are to open from 9 a.m to 2 p.m as per government order and defaulters will be imposed a fine of Rs. 500 for shop keepers and medical outlets/pharmacies and Rs. 200 for vendors.
Council also advised public and residents of Notun Bosti to wear face mask and maintain social distancing while availing essential commodities and stepping out of the colony or within the colony for important purposes.
NBCD also directed the shop keepers and vendors to strictly follow the rate of commodities laid down/prescribed by the Dimapur Municipal council (DMC) as failure will invite a fine. Pet owners have also been directed to properly control and chain their dogs within their compound and if the pet is found roaming randomly/freely within the colony risking human life then the council will impose a fine as deem fit.
