Nagaland Baptist Pastors’ Union (NBPU) has condemned the serial bomb attacks in the churches and hotels across Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday that resulted in loss of many innocent lives and causing injuries to many.

In a press release, NBPU expressed solidarity with the Churches, affected families and individuals in Sri Lanka and prayed for peace, comfort, strength through Lord Jesus Christ at this time of pain, distress and sorrow.
NBPU also requested all its members and churches to keep praying for all the believers and Churches who were going through persecutions in the country and also in other parts of the world.
Further, NBPU has called upon its members and Churches to be vigilant and watchful in prayer. “We appeal to all its members to pray for our Churches and our land for peace and God’s protection from any evil attacks,” stated NBPU citing Bible passages 1Peter 5:8-9 NKJV and 1Cor.16:13-14 NKJV.
