Cadets from the ongoing annual training camp of 24 Nagaland (Indep) company NCC, being held at Livingstone Foundation Higher Secondary School (LFHSS), Dimapur got to see a helicopter taking off and landing from up-close.

According to PRO defence, approximately 400 NCC cadets were taken to the aviation base inside Rangaphar where they got to see flying machines. The NCC cadets took keen interest as pilots explained the workings and mechanics of a helicopter.

Camp commandant, annual training camp, Lt Col Vivek Shukla, said that for many cadets who came from the most interior parts of Nagaland, seeing a flying machine was an impressionable moment. Many cadets were motivated to consider flying as a career, the release mentioned.
