NCC camp underway in Jotsoma

 A ten-day annual training camp of NCC cadets commenced on May 4 at Sazolie College, Jotsoma. The training will continue till May 13.

According to PRO HQ IGAR (N), Brig SS Dhankhar, NCC Group Commander and Col S Malik, Director Recruiting ARO Rangapahar, separately visited the camp on May 6 and gave inspiring and informative speech to the cadets.
The aim of the camp was to impart collective training to NCC cadets with special emphasis on the development of qualities of leadership, character, comradeship, discipline, secular outlook etc and for this a number of focused training activities will be organized during the camp. For the first time in many years Nagaland NCC Group is conducting a combined camp for both girls and boys. A total of 348 (girls) and 52 (boys) NCC cadets from all districts of Nagaland, are attending the camp.
