NCC Day celebrated in Tuensang

National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets of 25th Nagaland Independent Coychurch, 17th Alpha JD Troop NCC, Loyem Memorial High School, Tuensang celebrated 70th NCC Day on November 25 in the school campus.  

A press release by the school stated that associate NCC officer, S/O Nurul, spoke at length regarding NCC Day and the organisation. 

He also exhorted the cadets to make use of the opportunities that the NCC gives.

The program chaired by L/Cpl Lemsenchiba of Class VIII, began with a prayer followed by a welcome note by sergeant Lepsu Y and a patriotic song sung by the cadets.

The NCC cadets were also presented with their certificate A, followed by words of thanks by cadet Prodip Tasha, and then followed by singing of the NCC anthem.
