NCC training camp in Mokokchung

Ten-day combined annual training camp for NCC cadets-boys and girls-from various districts commenced from October 31 at CRPF camp, Mokokchung.

The camp was organised by 25th Nagaland Independent Coy NCC Mokokchung. The cadets were imparted training on various subjects such as drill, weapon training, map reading, first aid, adventure, self defence, military history, physical fitness, field craft and battle craft. Camp commandant colonel, Vijay Ahwalat gave the opening address and spoke about discipline and on NCC training, safety, health and hygiene aspects. 
Earlier, guard of honour was presented by the cadets of various institutions under the guidance of deputy camp commandant, Nurul Islam.
Welcome address was delivered by second officer and deputy camp commandant, Nurul Islam. 
In his speech, he encouraged the cadets to become a responsible citizen. 
He also urged the cadets to keep their surrounding clean  and  educated them on how to manage the garbage for clean and healthy environment. 
 The camp will conclude on November 9.
