NDPP online meeting with central youth organisation

NDPP leadership held a meeting with the central youth organisation through Zoom Cloud Application on June 6, chaired by spokesperson and convenor of the media & communications committee and former minister, Merentoshi. 

A press release issued by NDPP media and communication committee stated that, the meeting was attended by secretary general of the party Abu Metha, president youth organisation Kelhouneizo Yhome, general secretary T. L Merry, other central leaders and many rank and files of the youth organisation.

Merentoshi, advised the house to share views and suggestions and bring it up in the next upcoming meetings to find ways to support and render any help possible together under the banner of the youth organisation. He also urged the youth to make all efforts to help the people during these challenging times and ensure that the programmes and policies of the government reach the people in the grass roots.

Abu Metha advised the youth organisation to refrain from using profane language in social media or engage in dirty paper wars, and that responsible leaders must make constructive criticism and defend the government with facts and accurate details. He motivated the youth to rise to the occasion and use the tools of modern technology and social media realities to change the narrative to a positive scenario for the overall betterment of society. 

President youth organisation K. Yhome, said that despite critics, cheap propagandas and conspiracies going about, the youth organisation have faith that the party in power with its allies would stand steadfast and that eventually truth shall prevail. Youth organisation expressed that it was ready to contribute more materially, physically, or any other means if needed.
