NDPP Wokha supports PDA government to extend ILP

National Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Wokha region strongly support and appreciate the PDA government’s strong and firm decision to extend ILP in the entire state of Nagaland including Dimapur district.

A press release from NDPP Wokha media secretary, Longshithung Kithan stated that, this decision was taken under the leadership of chief minister Neiphiu Rio and his colleagues and based on genuineness and recommendations of Abhishek Singh Committees Reports, considering the rights upon the life, liberty, properties and fundamental rights of the non-Nagas living in Dimapur and in other parts of the Naga inhabited areas in Nagaland.

NDPP Wokha stated that, Nagas had always been by nature accommodative and had spirit of oneness, and has therefore requested the non-Nagas of residing in Dimapur district and other Naga inhabited areas as Indian citizen not to be discouraged but to have the feeling of brotherhood and oneness with the Nagas. NDPP Wokha also asked them to cooperate with the PDA government in Nagaland in order to maintain peaceful co-existence with the Nagas as long as they remain in Nagaland.
