NDPP women, Mercy Society distribute rice to the needy

Mercy Society, a Dimapur based group, under the initiative of NDPP Women organisation, Dimapur region distributed rice free of cost to the poor and needy widows in the region. The mission was also continued at Medziphema on August 15- 17, under the guidance of the NDPP Women Organisation, 5 Ghaspani-II A/C, where around 30 beneficiaries were gifted rice free of cost. 

In a press release, Women Organisation, NDPP 5 Ghaspani-II A/C president, Megozomeü Khate and secretary, Chinnu Chongloi, conveyed gratitude to Mercy Society and NDPP Women Organisation, Dimapur region, for the generous gesture to uplift the lives of widowed mothers. It further noted that “Kind deeds will never go unrewarded” and encouraged other citizens to embark on such projects in their own neighbourhoods in order to propagate love for humanity.
