New book on tribal stories released

A book titled “A connect: Stories from the tribal hills” written by Dr. Anthony V. Richa was released by professor Pardeshi Lal, vice-chancellor, Nagaland University in the presence of faculty and officers at Lumami on July 19.
A press release from NU, Lumami PRO, Peter Ki stated that, the author had taken three years of tedious labour of interaction with elders and intellectuals for the book to come into form. 
The book carries nine stories attempting to connect the past with the present and then the future. Prof. Pardeshi Lal praised the author for the creativity and concern for society, adding that the source of connecting the dots of evolutionary history of any society was its language/dialect and folk tales.
The author has already published a collection of poems titled “Awakened lines: A collection of poems”. Currently, he is serving as the deputy registrar at Nagaland University.
