New building of GHS Thüvopisü inaugurated

Director School Education, Wonthungo Tsopoe on Friday inaugurated the newly constructed Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) school building of Government High School, Thüvopisü under Phek district.

Speaking on the occasion, the director said the new RMSA building marked a new milestone and encouraged the teachers and students to use the building wisely and creatively to scale new heights. 
He called upon the teachers to rededicate and give their best to impart quality education, as education “is the only weapon to change the society”.
He also informed that the department will be handing various award to the best performing government school in order to instil competitive spirit among the government schools.
It may be mentioned that the school is running without headmaster and assistant headmaster. 
Meanwhile, Tsopoe inspected the Community Hostel erected with a contribution from each households and well wishers within the village.
Short speech was delivered by ADC Chozuba, Theodore Yanthan.
The programme chaired by SDEO, Chozuba, Thungrhomo Odyuo began with an invocation by TBC pastor, Amudo Tetseo. 
Welcome address was delivered by Kuvesezo Tetseo, acting headmaster, GHS Thüvopisü, special number by students, GHS Thüvopisü. 
Vote of thanks was delivered by Vesathu Dozo, chairman, school managing board, Thüvopisü and benediction  by CRC pastor, Vezosa Rhakho.
