New Market FC beat Khriekesa FC 3-0 at the ongoing 2nd edition of Kohima Football League (KFL) on Tuesday. The football league is being organized by Kohima Town Club.       
The first goal for New Market came through a spot kick which was awarded after Salu Kulim was tripped by Seyiekhrietuo Suohu of Khriekesa FC in the penalty box. Achama Shitio, who took the spot kick made no mistake to give his team the lead in the 10th minute.  
The second goal for New Market FC was scored by Menguzelie Rutsa in the 44th minute.
After the breather, Rhitso Mero of New Market FC scored the third goal in the 78th minute to seal the match.  During the match, Seyiekhrietuo Suohu of Khriekesa FC and Cheneibemo Tungoe of New Market FC were shown yellow cards for unsporting behaviour.
