NFA holds joint monthly meeting

 Nagaland Film Association (NFA) held its joint monthly meeting on September 8 from Dimapur and discussed the important issues on elevating the film industry in Nagaland under the banner of NFA. 

Film directors, producers, actors and film makers were encouraged to come up with new film based on prevailing issues with quality production, involving and employing more technical experts in consultation with professional film makers outside the state.

NFA has decided to organise film workshop, short term training on acting, script writing, directing, post production, cinematography, film editing etc by encouraging educated Naga unemployed youth  to take up skill based and job oriented training especially in film and television industry in Nagaland. NFA also planned to organise annual Naga Film Achiever Awards starting from this year to encourage and facilitate the Naga film makers in various categories in collaboration with the concern department in the state. 



Launched on December 3,1990. Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland state. Nagaland Post is also the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in multi-colour.
