NFR cancels, short terminate several trains

In wake of the 11-hour North East bandh, which began at 5 a.m. on Tuesday and subsequent rail blockades by picketers at some places, the North East Frontier Railway has cancelled/short terminated some trains.

In a statement, NF Railway chief PRO, Subhanan Chanda informed that the following trains have been cancelled on December 10-- 15909 Dibrugarh–Lalgarh Exp, 12526 Dibrugarh–Kolkata Exp, 15960 Dibrugarh–Howrah Kamrup Exp, 15603/15605 Guwahati–Ledo/Dibrugarh Intercity Exp, 15907 Tinsukia–Naharlagun Exp and 05819 Dibrugarh–Dekargaon spl.

The following trains on December 11 also stands cancelled-- 12086 Dibrugarh–Guwahati Shatabdi Exp, 12085 Guwahati-Naharlagun Shatabdi Exp, 15928 New Tinsukia–Rangiya Intercity Exp, 15967 Rangiya–Dibrugarh Intercity Exp, 07682/07689 Agartala–Sabroom-Dharmanagar DEMU, 07690/07681 Dharmanagar–Sabroom-Agartala DEMU, 07684/07683 Agartala–Sabroom-Agartala DEMU,07688/07687 Agartala–Sabroom-Agartala DEMU, 55679/55680 Agartala–Dharmanagar-Agartala DEMU, 55676/55675 Dharmanagar–Agartala-Dharmanagar, 55663/55664 Agartala–Silchar-Agartala passenger.

Apart from the above the following trains have also be partially cancelled, 12423 Dibrugarh–New Delhi Rajdhani Exp Dec 10 will remain partially cancelled between Dibrugarh and Guwahati and will originate from Guwahati on Dec 11, 14056 Delhi–Dibrugarh Brahmaputra mail of Dec 8 will be short terminated at Lumding and will remain partially cancelled between Lumding and Dibrugarh, 15955 Dibrugarh–Delhi Brahmaputra mail of Dec 10 will remain partially cancelled between Dibrugarh and Guwahati and will originate from Guwahati on Dec 11, 15959 Howrah–Dibrugarh Kamrup Exp of Dec 9 has been short terminated at Mariani, 15960 Kamrup Exp will originate from Guwahati on Dec 12, 15904 Chandigarh–Dibrugarh Exp of Dec has been short terminated at Mariani, 15910 Lalgarh–Dibrugarh Avadh Assam Exp of Dec 8 has been short terminated at Dimapur, 15908 Naharlagun–Tinsukia Exp of Dec 10 has been short terminated at Tangani and 05820 Dekargaon–Dibrugarh spl of Dec 10 has been short terminated at Dhamalgaon.
