NIT’s Ekarikthin to begin from March 29

 The stage has been set for the fifth edition of Nagaland’s largest techno- cultural fest Ekarikthin’19. The three day fest will kick off on March 29 with former director, Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research Prof. S.A.V. SatyaMurty, as the chief guest. 

After the previous years of success of Ekarikthin the students are only more excited to add more and more to the adventure. Enthusiasm is on level high. Right from the nerdy coder to the beautiful fashonista, Ekarikthin has something for everyone. The BTS fan to the addicted PUBG player, nobody will be left without a good time. 

The highlight of Ekariktihin’19 is Cosplay organized by Nagaland Anime Junkies bringing a whole new level of thrill for the anime lovers. So get your costumes ready. Ekariktihin’19 is here to unite all the anime and Manga lovers. 

The Voice of Ekarikthin will be a solo singing competition which will be held as part for the event and interested singers are invited to compete.

The fifth edition of Ritzy, a pivotal event for the aspiring models will also be held. There will be four rounds before the winner is crowned- The cultural wear round, showcasing the culture of Nagaland, the casual wear round, designer wear round and the evening wear. 

The judges for the event includes: FBB Colors Femina Miss India Nagaland 2018- RuopfuzhanoWhiso, Ethnic Trendzanda director and founder- Gihutoli Khulu and Miss Nagaland 2017- Marina Kiho.

The designers and choreographers for the event are - Anica Ayemi and Achunbo Chawang. The participants will be groomed by Auden Lama, Celebrity makeup artist & Hairstylist. The photographer is Akum Jamir. The winners will be presented with a cash prize and gift hampers by our sponsors – Truly Bangkok, Runway Nagaland, Obsession Online and Lakabi Clothing. Not only this but the winners will get the golden opportunity of a direct entry into the Face of Nagaland ’19 edition.
