Nagaland Law Students’ Federation (NLSF) called on minister of Higher and Technical Education and Tribal Affairs, Temjen Along Imna at his office in Kohima on October 18 and disused on the long pending demand of the federation.

A press release from the NLSF information & publicity secretary, Renbeni Ezung stated that, the federation in a representation to the minister expressed the long-pending demand/desire of the federation to establish a government/public law college in the state.
NLSF stated that they have appealed to the concerned authorities of the state government for the past many years for the same but were yet to receive positive response.
The federation further stated that without a government law college in the state, the students’ community especially those from weaker economic background or far flung location were facing hardship in pursuing law studies in the state. NLSF stated that the minister assured to them that the issue may be discussed in the assembly on priority at the earliest. NLSF delegation was led by its vice-president Mukam Yumchunger.
