NMSA conducts health awareness programme at Zhadima village

Coinciding with its 23rd general conference, the Nagaland Medical Students Association (NMSA) conducted a health awareness programme on October 10 in collaboration with Family Planning Association of India (FPAI) at Zhadima village under Kohima district.

The programme witnessed a health talk on family planning by Vincent Belho, dental hygiene by Dr. Myingthungo Ngullie and hypertension by Dr. Visede Liegise.  A press release from NMSA informed that 181 people were examined for various health ailments.

77 children were also administered medicine for deworming, according to NMSA. 

Staff members from FPAI counseled on the importance of family planning.
