NNC mourns Longshah’s demise

Naga National Council (NNC) has expressed shock and sorrow over the demise of ‘capt.’ (Retd.), Y.K. Longshah son of Yahan from Throilu village, Konyak region, who passed away on August 23.

In a condolence note, NNC joint secretary, Acoyi Vadeo described late Longshah as a man of true patriotism and a devoted Naga National worker, who was entrusted with the post of central executive council member NNC on March 10, 2010. It said that his untimely demise was a great and irreplaceable loss for the Nation. The release stated that he had left for his heavenly abode fulfilling his dignity in serving the Nation and said that his services rendered for the Naga Nation would always remain alive “in the eye of every Nagas.”

NNC conveyed its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for Almighty God to grant solace and guidance to the bereaved family members, relatives and friends. It further prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
