NNC (PB) calls for inclusive solution

DIMAPUR, OCT 13 (NPN) | Publish Date: 10/13/2021 12:48:31 PM IST

NNC (Parent Body) has appealed to all Naga national political groups to sit across the table and thrash out the differences and work out an honourable, acceptable and inclusive solution for peace in the region.

In a press note through its information & publicity wing, NNC (PB) once again reminded that unless all the Naga national workers unite to work out the best political solution, “there can never be an ending settlement of the Naga political struggle for freedom in the region.”

While expressing happiness that NSCN (Niki)’s group was also included in “separate talk/negotiation in Delhi recently by the new Interlocutor”, NNC (PB), however, said that “none has commented or welcomed so far in this matter.”

Pointing out that “Government of India has resumed political negotiations with NSCN (I-M) and NNPGs (Kitovi) with the new Interlocutor A.K. Mishra officially”, NNC said it clearly showed that “political negotiation never concluded nor ended with the Nagas.”

In this regard, NNC (PB) said it wished highlight to all the "incompetence" of former Interlocutor R.N. Ravi’s political negotiations with NSCN (I-M) and NNPGs, which that had failed miserably with humiliation and has become "nonexistent".

Meanwhile, NNC (PB) has urged all Nagas to solemnly observe the "Naga National Martyrs’ Day" on October 18, 2021 "with prayer and petition to God Almighty for the thousands of Naga Martyrs who laid down their precious lives for Naga sovereignty."
