Noklak SDPDB approves Thonoknyu as ‘aspiration block’

Noklak Sub-Division Planning and Development Board (SDPDB) has approved for consideration of Thonoknyu Block as “Aspiration Block” at the monthly meeting held on September 18 at KTC Hall. 

According to DIPR report, the board have approved based on the economic and developmental ground realities. 

At the meeting, establishment of AYUSH Hospital at Thonoknyu proposed by Advisor, Fisheries, Evaluation, Economics & Statistics, L.Khumo has also been approved for consideration by the concerned authority. 

Grant-in-aid to Baptist School Thonoknyu as forwarded by the Sub-Divisional Education Officer, Noklak was also approved for forwarding to the concerned authority. 

Staff quarter facility at AYUSH Hospital Noklak brought up by the member was discussed at length and approved for construction of two staff quarters on urgent need basis.

Proposal for additional fund under LADP 2019-20, upgradation of JE Power to SDO Electrical post at Noklak Hq and provision of separate feeder line for Noklak and Thonoknyu sub-division were also discussed and unanimously approved to forward to the concerned authority for early necessary action. 

Meanwhile, Khumo thanked the members for their attendance and encouraged the members to be proactive in raising the concern of the area.

As entrusted during the last meeting, the department of Food and Civil Supplies highlighted various activities being implemented under Noklak. 

State Bank of India, Noklak Branch has been endorsed to present their activities in the next meeting.
