Novaturient to organize fashion show on October 12

 With an aim to promote the designers and models in the state, Novaturient management team is all set to organise a fashion show under the theme “Ardour, Fall/Winter 2019” on October 12 at RCEMPA Jotsoma from 6 p.m. onwards powered by the Task Force For Music and Arts (TaFMA),  Government of Nagaland.

This was announced during the press conference held at Symphony Café Kohima on Saturday by the Novaturient Management members attended by event manager Neitho Khamo, Ruopfuzhano Whiso (Fbb Color Femina Miss India Nagaland 2017-18 proprietor lay Ruo), Pelevinuo Rupre (Miss Kohima 1st runners up 2017-18), Moile Longkongly (Miss Phom 2017-18 district SVEEP election Icon Longleng 2018-19) Kepenshi Thongliu (1st runners up, Miss. Tikhir 2017-18 district SVEEP election Icon Kiphire 2018-19) and Theja Sekhose (fashion designer, fashion show producer choreographer, runway coach proprietor –Theja Sekhose store Kohima).        

Khamo who is also content creator and photographer of the event said that Novaturient Managements was formed last month with some like-minded group of people with an aim to provide platform and nurture youth to be creative, critical, innovative and to advance knowledge and pushing the boundaries in fashion, textiles, design and managements to achieve a sustainable progress with a global outlook. He said the team plan to organize various workshops, seminars with renowned resource persons from outside the state to encourage and groom up the young upcoming artiste of the state. Former Fbb Colors Femina Miss India Nagaland Whiso informed that the event would showcase various designs of the designers by both male and female models on the occasion and celebrate the fashion. She said that stalls would be put up designed by the various designers during the event.

Fashion designer Theja Sekhose informed that 13 designers from the state and outside the state, also 13 models would be participating in the fashion show. He disclosed that the event would be a unique one with some surprise items for the audience. Sekhose informed that there would be audition at St. Joseph College, Jakhama for the main event on August 23.

The members informed that their team has a wide focus spectrum, covering fields such as uplifting, promoting and creating platforms for established and upcoming talents in the fashion industry. In future, it intends to conduct more programmes, workshops and shows relating to upgrade the existing beauty trends and norms.
