NPF 55 A/C Tobu oath-taking ceremony in Tobu

NPF party of 55 A/C Tobu held an oath-taking ceremony at Tobu, wherein more than 200 party workers attended on December 20. 

A press release from NPF 55 A/C Tobu press and media cell secretary, M. A. Wanmai Konyak stated that, in the meeting the house strongly resolved to support the leadership of Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu, president and T.R. Zeliang, leader of NPF legislature. S. Ngaubakonyak president of NPF 55 A/C Tobu also assured to extend fullest co-operation to the directives of the central office, Kohima and division office, Mon.
Party workers also expressed their resentment against L. Ngushu for publishing false statement on October 16 as president NPF 55 A/C Tobu resigned to support Bongkhao Konyak. 
The release stated that, he was directly impeached by the NPF 55 A/C on May 17, 2019 for his anti-party activities and officially declared C. Yanghi as interim president on the same day itself. 
In this regard, the release stated that, he was neither the president nor an active member of NPF at the time of his statement and asserted that his lone defection will not affect the functioning of the NPF 55 A/C Tobu in future.
Earlier, meeting was chaired by P.Shammaoh general secretary 55 A/C Tobu and oath to the new office bearers by S. Nyakba chairman advisory board. Short speeches were delivered by Naibakonyak former MLA 55 A/C, S.B. Poangba advisor, S. Ngauba newly elected president and C. Yanghi outgoing president.
