NPF CYW says not affected by resignation

Taking cognizance of the resignation of erstwhile office-bearers from the NPF youth wing, the central youth wing (CYW) of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) has asserted that the functional part of the NPF youth wing has not been affected at all by their resignation.

A press release from NPF central youth wing media cell stated that, action of those who had resigned can only be termed as “a political adventure” as they had no desire whatsoever to shoulder corporate responsibilities as demanded by their designation and were solely occupied in furthering their personal interests.
The release stated that, their defection was a measure of desperation because they were unable “to convince the NPF leadership to elevate their position in the new party set-up that is going to come into effect after the party convention even though they lobbied hard for it”.
NPF central youth wing further pointed out that their incessant lobbying against their own colleagues was considered as anti-party activity and they were about to be dropped from the new set-up.
In this regard, the NPF central youth wing stated that, “we can only wait and observe whether their personal ambitions will be realized by joining the NDPP and whether their new benefactors will bestow the trust and confidence that they desire upon them”. The release asserted that the wing will become more dynamic now that the aspect of cumbersomeness has been unwittingly addressed.
