The NPGN/NNC at its cabinet meeting under the collective leadership on June 12 discussed on the ongoing issues and rumour spread by T.Ovung, former acting president.

In a statement MIP of NPGN/NNC stated that at the meeting, the council of kilonsers have condemned the anti government activities of T. Ovung and directed him not to misguide the Nagas anymore.

They also condemned the press statement issued by Col. Iheto, and clarified that the ministry of defense was still intact under the commandership of Col. Ghutoshe Aye.

Further, the house appealed to the Nagas in general not to get misguided by the statement made by T.Ovung, who is no more a member of NPGN/NNC.

The house has also decided to abide by the terms and conditions of the NNPGS and will continue to support and cooperate until the Indo-Nags issue is resolved.  Meanwhile, MIP said that kilonser Kiyelho Wokhami, kilonser Reuben Lotha and Col. Iheto Aye have been terminated for their involvement in anti government activities.
