NPGN/NNC (N/A) impeaches ; Ao region extends support

NPGN/NNC (A/A) under the leadership of T.Ovung at an emergency meeting held on June 12 has unanimously decided to impeach Hozheto Chophy for his alleged involvement in anti government activities. In a statement, NPGN/NNC president, T. Ovung claimed that Hozheto Chophy was no more ato kilonser and after the imposition of “president rule” he has become a “secretary”. 

Therefore, he does not have any authority to terminate any members of NPGN/NNC (N/A), the statement stated. 
In this regard, Ovung has appealed to the citizens to “deal/treat him accordingly”, and claimed that Hozheto cannot represent NPGN/NNC (N/A) in any manner henceforth. 
Meanwhile, Ovung claimed that NPGN/NNC (N/A) has terminated Col. Ghutoshe Aye “on disciplinary ground for defying the order of his highest authority”
Ao region: NPGN/NNC (N/A) Ao region has extended support to its new elected president, T Ovung. The region has clarified that it has not extended support to Sobha Lakum.
In a press release, NPGN/NNC (N/A) Ao region Imkong Pongen stated that the region in an emergency meeting on June 12 deliberated at length about the crisis within the group and unanimously decided to support and work under the leadership of T Ovung.
