NPP holds North East Coordination meeting in Shillong

The National People’s party has stated that its first Conference of the National People’s Party North East Coordination Committee (NPPNECC) will be held in Shillong on June 8. This was announced by in a meeting convened by Dr. D. D. Lapang National Vice-President and Chairman of the National People’s Party —North East Coordination Committee (NPPNECC) on May 16 in Shillong. 

A press release by general secretary NPP-NECC, G S Malai stated that in the meeting chaired by Dr. D. D. Lapang chaired the meeting, members explored possible ways to make the conference successful. 

Discussions were made to draft the agenda of the Conference which will include urgent and vitals burring issues prevailing in the present situation. 

The release stated, the intention is to strengthen the party organisation, women’s wing and youth’s wing. 

It further informed members that the State Units would be requested to send to the Organising Cum Reception Committee for NPPNECC Conference 2019 and all suggestion and matters to be included in the agenda should be sent to the office of the NPPNECC or to the Chairman of the Organising Cum-Reception Committee Dr. W. R. Kharlukhi who is also the Co-Chairman of the NPPNECC.

Sangma, Secretary NPPNECC & Chairman Tura Municipal Board; Thombor Shiwat, C.E.M. JHADC & Ex-Officio Member NPPNECC ; Dr. C. R. Lyngdoh. Member NPPNECC & General Secretary NPP, Meghalaya State; Dr. Lalrintlunga Jahau, Member NPPNECC from Mizoram & National Secretary NPP; Shri Dilip Kumar Borah, Member NPPNECC & Convener NPP Assam State ; Sasank Ghatraj, Member NPPNECC & General Secretary NPP Nagaland State; and Dr. (Mrs.) P. D. Laloo, Women Representative NPPNECC & President NPP Women’s Wing, Meghalaya.
