The Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) has notified aspirants that in the recently concluded Combined Technical Services Examination (CTSE) 2017, two candidates were caught indulging in unfair means while appearing for the Civil Engineering (Diploma) paper on July 20, 2018.

In a notification, the secretary NPSC Khrupi Sothu stated that, the Commission held a meeting on August 9 and observed that the primary task of the Commission was to conduct recruitment examination in a free, fair and transparent manner.

It further stated that any deviation or detection of any breach of these three principles could not be condoned under any circumstances and the indulgence of both the candidates in unfair means was established beyond reasonable doubt.

The Commission accordingly decided as under Rule 30 A of the NPSC (Civil & Other Services) Recruitment Rules, 2008 to: cancel their candidature for the CTSE 2017; debar them from appearing any examination conducted by the NPSC for a period of one year effective from August 9, 2018.
