NSA to organise international webinar on Nagas

Naga Scholars’ Association (NSA) will be organising an international webinar on the theme, “Living in the present: Nagas in the 21st century” scheduled from November 26 to 28, which will be inaugurated by chief minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio. 

A press release by NSA president, Dr. Zuchamo Yanthan stated that, conference will witness a total number of 64 research papers from different universities and institutions from across the globe. NSA has invited Naga researchers, thinkers, and practitioners from different universities across the globe to share their work, to interact with one another and to reflect upon the challenges the Naga society is faced with in contemporary times. ‘

The conference seeks to bring in some of the active scholars and thinkers for a meaningful dialogue with one another, in the hopes of finding interdisciplinary solutions to existing problems and brainstorming innovative pathways to the future. Prominent participants at the webinar will include Prof. Paul Pimomo, professor Emeritus, Central Washington University, Rev. Dr. Wati Aier, convener FNR & professor Emeritus at OTS, Dimapur, public intellectual Prof. Neera Chandhoke, Prof. Sanjoy Harazrika, director, CHRI, Subir Bhaumik, journalist, author & editorial director at EasternLink. Many other eminent academicians, personalities, and scholars will be participating in the conference as chairpersons.
