NSCN/GPRN (Reformation) has extended Aoleng greetings, celebrated by the Konyak Naga people during the 1st week of April which also coincides and commemorates the Konyak New Year. A greetings message from NSCN/GPRN (R) through its MIP stated that, this year because of the threat of COVID-19, and responding to the “clarion call” of the government, large gatherings and mass celebrations will not be held, however people can always continue to have “emotional attachments” through prayers, thanksgivings and exchanging wishes and greetings. MIP further urged citizens to stay positive and take care until the pandemic is contained completely through joint efforts of everyone concerned.
