NSCN (I-M) condolence

NSCN (I-M) has expressed grief at the untimely demise of  ‘Major (Retired)’ Jisangwo Makuri (57 years), member of steering committee, NSCN/GPRN s/o Shelumchu Makuri from Khongjiri village under Saramati region on April 16 after a prolonged illness. 

A condolence issued by NSCN/GPRN through its MIP stated that late Jisangwo joined Naga national service on November 15, 1982. GPRN further mourned the untimely demise of Tunchapbo Thiumai (93 years), ‘tatar’, s/o (L) Liangrinang Thiumai from Nkhen (Makhan) village under Makuilongdi region on April 17 after a prolonged illness. He joined Naga national service since 1961 and later on joined NSCN in 2012. MIP stated that, both had served the Naga nation with unwavering national spirit until their demise and the void created would be deeply felt and difficult to fill in. GPRN conveyed deep condolences to both the bereaved family members and pray the Almighty God to grant their souls eternal peace and rest. Eastern Naga National Workers Union (ENNWU) convener and member of collective leadership Moba Chang also mourned the demise of Jisangwu.
