NSCN (I-M) condolences

Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (GPRN) has expressed grief at the untimely demise of ‘major’ Temsutemjen Longchar (Naga Army No. 41232/06) of Hevuto Battalion, Naga Army from Chuchuyimlang village under Ao region on January 13. 

A condolence by NSCN (I-M) through its MIP stated that, he was enrolled in the Naga national service on February 20, 2006.  

Further, GPRN mourns the premature demise of ‘sergeant’ Pangmaya Raikhan (Naga Army No. 42742/11) of the General Headquarters (GHq), Naga Army from Kachai Phungdhar village under Wung Tangkhul Region (WTR) on January 13, 2021. He enrolled in the Naga national service on September 22, 2011. 

MIP stated that they had served the Naga nation with unwavering patriotism until their demise and the void created would be deeply felt and difficult to fill in. 

For their selfless contributions to the Naga national cause, MIP stated that their names shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and their sacrifices for the Naga nation ever be cherished by all. 

The office of the Longvibu, Naga Army has bestowed upon ‘major’ Temsutemjen Longchar posthumously the rank of ‘lieutenant colonel’ on January 13, 2021 in recognition of his service to the Naga nation.  NSCN/GPRN conveyed deep condolences to the bereaved family members and close friends of both and pray for their spirits to rest in eternal peace.
