NSCN (I-M) condoles demise of members

NSCN (I-M) has expressed grief over the untimely demise of late MSM ‘brigadier’ Khatwang Tahkaishu of Moba Brigade, Naga Army from Sheangha Chingnyu village under Konyak region on November 20.

A condolence note by NSCN (I-M) through its MIP stated that the office of Longvibu, Naga Army bestowed upon him posthumously the rank of ‘major general’ on November 20 in recognition of his service to the Naga nation, to which he was enrolled in 1981.

GPRN further mourned the demise of late ‘sergeant’ Thangmeiso Kashak of general headquarters (GHq), Naga Army from Zingsui village under Wung Tangkhul region (WTR) on November 20.

The office of ‘adjutant general’, Naga Army bestowed him posthumously the rank of ‘sergeant major’ on the November 20 in recognition of his service to the Naga nation. He was enrolled in national service on July 24, 2010. 

GPRN said that both served the Naga nation with unwavering patriotism until their demise and the void created by their demise would be difficult to fill in.

It also stated that their names would be recorded in the pages of Naga history and their sacrifices shall ever be cherished by all. NSCN/GPRN and Naga Army led by Longvibu in particular conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed the Almighty grant their souls eternal peace.
