NSCN (I-M) yaruiwo condolence

Yaruiwo of NSCN (I-M) Q. Tuccu has expressed deep pain at the demise of ‘colonel’ (Rtd) Howoto Zhimo on January 27. In a condolence message, Q. Tuccu stated that, it was a profound loss, not only for his family, friends, but also for NSCN as late Howoto had been a stalwart national worker who never failed in his assigned duties. Tuccu stated that Howoto was a man with great principle and resolute in his commitment to people of Nagas and for the cause of freedom of Nagalim. 

From his early days in the movement and the struggle, and through his involvement in the Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim, Tuccu stated that Howoto overcame the hardships of separation, uncertainty and financial insecurity, which he did so with grace and without complaint or self-pity. Tuccu also stated that it has lost a beloved son and an outstanding patriot and saluted the departed soul and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family. 
Meanwhile, the GPRN also stated that Howoto Zhimomi was from Izheto village under Sumi region and had enrolled in the Naga national service on June 3, 1985. 
For his selfless contribution to the Naga national cause, GPRN further stated that his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and his sacrifice ever be cherished by all
