NSCN (R) appeals people to adhere to rules

NSCN/GPRN (Reformation) has appealed to the government to continue to help the citizens and to provide assistance to the frontline workers as top priority, while also asking the public “to adhere to rules and regulations given by respective governments.”

NSCN/GPRN (R) through its MIP expressed gratitude to the frontline workers comprising of doctors, nurses, health workers, police and the press fraternity besides various groups/forums/churches and individuals for offering assistance.
NSCN (R) also acknowledged the efforts of the Nagaland government and stated that with limited resources it was all geared up to safeguard the citizens and also bring back all the stranded citizens. Describing Nagaland’s commercial hub Dimapur as “epicentre”, NSCN (R) said if anything happens in Dimapur “all hell will break loose”. However, it stated that with the efforts of responsible officers like secretary Kikheto Yepthomi, CP Rothitu Tetseo, DC Anoop Khinchi besides all other district DCs and in charges, all possible threat were “being monitored or at least mitigated.”
Further, NSCN (R) stressed that “every individual should forget about their political affiliations and politics of blame-game and finger-pointing”. It asserted that “people should forget about their social/tribal/community attachments and religious backgrounds/denominations and come together in solidarity and “speak in one language, one identity, one people and one survival.” Conveying good wishes to all the citizens, NSCN (R) urged them to take care and stay safe “till this threat was completely contained.”
