NSCN (R) expels Akato; spl. ID cards of 25 members cancelled

NSCN (R) has “expelled” its vice president Akato Chophy from the “active national service” with effect from November 19, 2021 for “his anti-party activities.”

In a statement NSCN (R) president Y Wangtin Naga and ato kilonser P Tikhak stated that in spite of all their efforts to “prevent unwanted situation, our vice president Akato Chophi choose to stray away from the NSCN/GPRN-Reformation.”

Meanwhile, the group has extended gratitude to Working Committee (WC) convenor Kitovi Zhimomi and co-convenors Zophra Vero and Isak Sumi and all other members of the WC for “taking out their precious time and putting all efforts to douse the crisis.” NSCN (R) also thanked the Naga people for their “constant prayer support in these trying times.”

Special ID-cards cancelled: NSCN (R) through its CFSB supervisor Eska Sumi has informed that it has cancelled special identity card under ceasefire agreement between government of India and NSCN of 25 card holders. The card holders include-- Moa Walling (card no 84), Hokiye (card no 121), Sumi George Hollo (card no 91), Tokiho V Sumi (card no 104), Nikhuvi Chophy (card no 102), Isato Aye (card no 100), K Hukavi (card no 105), Jakhalu (card no 125), Kakuto Shohe (card no 88), Kheshiho Wotsa (card no 127), Kahuto K Swu (card no 134), Yeshika (card no 110), Amento (card no 111), Tokato (card no 113), Kheshito Chophy (card no 131), Abel (card no 106), Viniho (card no 109), Akheli (card no 108), Hukato Chophy (card no 97), Khetoshe (card no 99), Akato Wotsa (card no 153), Toshi (card no 81), Vikishe (card no 114), Bento Chophi (card no 126) and Akhumlong Sangtam (card no 115).
