Taking serious note to the false claim of scholarships by the students, the Naga Students Federation (NSF) Monday announced launching of a campaign across Nagaland under the slogan “no false claim on scholarship”.

In a press release, NSF president Ninoto Awomi and Education secretary Kegwayhun Tep has advised the student community to check “rampant practices of corruption by way of falsely claiming scholarship.”

The federation maintained that only eligible and financially needy students should avail the Scholarship benefits, adding that any false claim by the student community was a direct practise of corruption.

With regard to its proposed campaign, the federation has sought positive response and cooperation from the student community to sign a pledge on “No to Corruption”.
