NSF Trophy: Darhü brace send Medziphema team to semis

Darhü struck twice as MTYO Medziphema outclassed Naga Hospital Colony Youth Organisation 3-0 in the third quarter-final match of the 20th NSF Martyr’s Memorial Trophy 2019 to book their semi-final berth here at Khuochiezie, Kohima local ground on Saturday.
In the match, MTYO’s striker Darhü open the scoring in the 8th minute, and went on to scored his second goal in the 71st minute.
Former Churchill Brothers SC midfielder, Visalie Mezhü got his name in the score sheet scoring through a stunning long range kick in the 85th minute to helped the team win over Naga-Hospital Colony Youth Organisation 3-0.
Darhü with his brace has now scored seven goals so far for Medziphema team. 
While two key players of Naga Hospital Colony team could not make it at the starting of the match due to their academic exams. Viluto Achumi came in the 24th minute, while their talisman Gideon Leo only came in the 87th minute as they failed to make much impression ending the saga in the tournament. 
Neithovilie Chalieu, the goalkeeper for Shillong Lajong FC also made his debut in the tournament for Medziphema team. He did manage to keep a clean sheet in his first match as the opponent team failed to register a single shot on target easing off the pressure for the goalkeeper to make any saves in the match. 
With the victory, MTYO Medziphema will take on Centurion FC Kohima village on October 16 at 1:30 p.m.
Nino Iralu Secretary (Judicial) Justice, Law Department was the match patron for the third quarter-final.
