NSF Trophy: United Brothers, Phesama, Magdaline win

United Brothers FC, Phesama Youth Organization and Magdaline Coaching FC won their respective matches on the eight day of the ongoing 21st NSF Martyrs Memorial Trophy at IG Stadium here Monday.

In the first match of the day, United Brothers FC beat AMSEM FC 2-1 and secured themselves a spot in the next round.

Vilazo Linyü of United Brothers scored the first goal in the 7th minute of the game which was soon equalised by Toshiakum of AMSEM in the 14th minute.

Later Thejangutuo from United Brothers sealed the fate of the game in the 38th minute.

In the second match of the day, Phesama Youth Organization thrashed Hooligans FC 12-1.

Chedevi Mejura and Kedosekho Thanyü each scored two goals in the 14th, 40th and 56th, 60th minutes of the game respectively.

Adding to their stack of a dozen goals, Vikehiezo Mejura scored a hat-trick in the 26th, 44th and 54th minutes of the game.

Theja Chuse scored four impressive goals in the 27th, 29th, 57 and 64th minutes of the game while the final blow was delivered by Kevi Chuse in the 67th minute of the game.

Moatemsü from Hooligans FC scored the lone goal in the 3rd minute and saved the team from complete annihilation.

The third match between Chandmari HSS Alumni and Magdaline Coaching FC was rather an uneventful match which ended in a goalless draw. 

However in the ensuing penalty shootout the match went in favour of Magdaline FC 6-5.
