NSHPC jubilee celebrations end

The 25th anniversary celebrations of the Naga Shisha Hoho Prayer Centre (NSHPC) Pruzie Kohima, held under the theme “To obey is better than sacrifice” (1 Samuel 15:22), concluded on Sunday. 
Speaking on Sunday evening, Western Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Kukhakulu executive secretary, Rev. Dr. Hevukhu Achumi said in the 25 years many people had received blessings and it would continue with God’s grace. Based on the theme, the reverend said that for a Christian, obeying God was a must and it has no substitute. He lamented that Naga Christians do not obey what is written in the Bible and admitted that the Nagas need a revival, and restoration of their land. He reminded the congregation that people cannot make excuses before God like King Saul in the Bible.
The program was chaired by Rev. Phomlee Van, pastor Phom Baptist Church Kohima; pastor Longri Yimchunger Baptist Church Kohima read from the Bible and said a prayer, offertory prayer was said by pastor T. More Tsang Pochury Baptist Church Kohima and a vote of thanks proposed by Rev. Yankey Patton, former state chaplain.
In the Sunday morning service, general secretary Nagaland Baptist Church Council, Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho shared the word of God, Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao led the service, Rev. Imtiba Sangtam read from the Bible. Offertory prayer was said by pastor Veyikha Lase, special songs presented by Sumi Aphuyemi Baptist Church Kohima, Kohima Ao Baptist Church and the anniversary choir. Pastor Toshi Imchen AO NCRC Kohima said the benediction prayer.  
More than nine thousand people attended the three services of the anniversary from different parts of Nagaland, and Naga inhibited areas. They included Church pastors and leaders, prayer centres leaders, youth leaders, from different denominations, and others.
